Why are fingerprints important?
Fingerprinting is very important to society. It helps identify criminals when a crime has been commited. It also helps to stop dangerous criminals from attaining a job (applicants for teachers and the like are fingerprinted to check for criminal record). The world wouldn't be a safe if it weren't for fingerpinting.
